New Eastern Region Regional Business Manager at Doosan Forklift

Doosan Forklift announced the appointment of Mr. Gary Chancellor to the position of Regional Business Manager, Eastern Region. In the position of Regional Business Manager for Doosan Infracore, Gary brings with him a wealth of sales, management, distribution and material handling experience.

Gary began his professional career working for a major soft drink company where he learned sales and marketing skills along with gaining knowledge about important manufacturing and distribution aspects of the business. After fifteen years, Gary left the soft drink business to begin a career in the material handling industry by joining United Machinery & Supply, a multi-line lift truck and material handling company located in Springfield Mo.

Beginning his career as a Territory Sales Representative, Gary spent seven successful years in the field learning the material handling business before accepting the position of Sales Manager which he held for over two years. Gary was promoted to General Manager for the company in 2008 and was in that role when he accepted his current position with Doosan Infracore.

New Doosan Pallet Truck Program set for 2011

Doosan has added a Hand Pallet Truck to its product offering.  Delivery of the first units we begin in January 2011.

The new hand pallet jack will be 5500 lb. capacity.  The very affordable jack will meet all safety standards.  The ruggedly built unit comes with a fully enclosed pump, high quality poly seals, and chrome-plated ram and piston. 

Doosan Forklifts Hires a New Representative for Government Sales

Doosan is pleased to announce a new addition to our Forklifts Sales support team! Mr. Mark Shaw has accepted the position of Government Sales Representative with the Forklifts National Accounts group. Mark brings with him nearly a decade's worth of experience in the Forklift industry obtained from a similarly structured management level position. His proven Sales background will lend itself well as we work to further enhance our National Accounts Sales team.

Mark will operate out of the Forklift Group's headquarter office in Suwanee, GA and he will report directly to me, Lyndle McCurtley, the Manager of Sales and Marketing. Please join us in welcoming Mark to the DIA Forklifts family and supporting him as he transitions into his new role as Government Sales Representative for the Forklifts National Accounts group.

Doosan Forklift makes changes in the Eastern Region

Doosan would like to inform you of a staffing change within our organization. After 15 years of service, Mr. Rich Bradford, Regional Business Manager for the Eastern Region has decided to leave Doosan in pursuit of the more relaxed and pleasurable days of retirement.  Rich has served in many roles for Doosan and was very instrumental in the development of the company through the years. We will come to miss his knowledge of the industry and support to those that he came in contact with. We wish him all the best as he transitions into this next phase of his life.

DIA Forklifts Welcomes a New Special Quotes Engineer to the Product Support team! Doosan Forklifts is pleased to announce a new addition to our Forklifts Product Support team! Effective immediately, Mr. James Checovich will serve as our Special Quote Engineer alongside current engineer Frank Samide.

A Cleveland Ohio native, Jim holds a bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toledo. Jim also possesses 4 years of solid manufacturing experience, having worked as a Design Engineer for a reputable Construction industry supplier. His academic prowess and hands-on professional experiences will be true assets to the job at hand.

Jim will operate out of the Forklift Group's Product Support and Service office in Warrensville Heights, Ohio.
